Senior Vice President, Navy and Marine Group and General Manager for the NGEN group
As the senior vice president of the Navy and Marine Group for Perspecta, U.S. Navy Vice Adm. (Ret.) Ted Branch leads the team of IT professionals who support the Department of the Navy and Marine Corps under the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) contract.
Prior to assuming his current role, Branch was vice president, Navy and Marine Corps, for DXC Technology’s U.S. Public Sector.
Branch served as a naval aviator in the U.S. Navy. His operational assignments included Light Attack Squadrons (VAL) 15 and 37, USS Forrestal (CV 59), and Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 37. He served as executive and commanding officer of VFA-15, executive officer in USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74), commanding officer in USS Coronado (AGF 11) and USS Nimitz (CVN 68), and commander of Carrier Strike Group (CSG) 1/Carl Vinson Strike Group.
Branch also served as an instructor in the A7 and F18 Fleet Replacement Squadrons and on the Joint Staff in Washington, D.C. He held positions as executive assistant to the Commander U.S. Pacific Fleet, director of Operations and Plans (N31) on the Chief of Naval Operations staff in the Pentagon, and commander of Naval Air Force Atlantic. Branch’s last assignment in the Navy was Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Information Warfare.
Branch's decorations include the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Strike Flight Air Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal with Combat “V,” Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various unit and campaign awards. In addition, he completed Navy Nuclear Power Training.
A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Branch earned a master’s degree in international relations from the Naval War College in Newport, R.I.
