Senior Vice President and General Manager, Risk Decision Group
As senior vice president and general manager of the risk decision group at Perspecta, Jennifer Brennan Swindell advances the trusted workforce initiatives comprised of background investigation, medical claims and record investigation, as well as fraud detection and analysis services, for our customers.
With extensive leadership and business development experience as the head of complex, geographically dispersed organizations, Swindell drives transformations that lead to sustained high performance of business units.
Her career spans more than 25 years of working with or serving in the government, primarily in the defense market. She has also supported the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, Transportation as well as the Postal Service. She is known for developing collaborative, high-performing teams and innovative, mission-focused technology solutions.
Early in her career, Swindell served as a special operations officer in the U.S. Navy, leading an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) detachment on independent operations in hazardous environments. She is a qualified EOD officer, diving officer, naval parachutist and surface warfare officer. Swindell graduated with distinction from Naval Surface Warfare Officer School and was a Distinguished Naval Graduate from Naval Officer Candidate School.
A National Merit Scholar, Swindell graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wesleyan University. She earned an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and recently completed executive courses at the MIT Sloan School of Management.
