Former Global Chief Financial Officer of Ernst & Young LLP
Michael E. Ventling retired from Ernst & Young LLP (EY) in 2015 after serving more than 31 years in both client serving and executive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as global chief financial officer from 2010 to 2014.
From 2006 to 2010, Ventling was the firm’s vice chair and managing partner for the Americas geographic area, running a $700 million U.S.-based business unit. For three years prior to that role, he held the position of both EY Americas Vice Chair and global vice chair in EY’s quality and risk management group. In this capacity, Ventling led the implementation of various risk management programs in the U.S. and around the world.
During his initial 20 years with EY, Ventling gained valuable experience in audit, tax and transaction advisory services.
Mike was chosen to serve on our board and audit committee because of his extensive background in accounting, auditing and transactions and his prior service on the board of directors for CSRA Inc., a company that served the public sector and was sold to General Dynamics in April 2018.
